Things to Do When You are Sick of Smoking
You would think the answer to that would be fairly obvious – you just quit! But I am afraid that would be the answer you’ve already heard from countless others who have either never smoked in the first place or have never successfully quit themselves.
So here is my advice – from a smoker of twenty years and a non-smoker of ten.
Though for you to come to this point of wanting to quit smoking may be a major breakthrough in your life, you need to know that the desire to quit alone is not strong enough for you because it is not enough for most people – 97% to be precise. So, unless you belong to that minuscule minority, don’t do it, even if you are desperate and want to quit right at this very moment.
The first step you need to take is to try and remove all emotion from the process. You should treat this clinically. Just as a doctor would look at the problem objectively, diagnose it and treat it accordingly without bringing in any emotion, you need to create a distance between your self and your habit. Your anger or desperation will not see you through the quitting process.
Before you attempt to quit, try to remove as much emotion from the process as it is humanly possible. You may be angry emotionally charged at the moment, but you won’t be able to maintain that level of anger or desperation long enough to see you through the quitting process.
Based on your reasons for quitting, search the internet for as much useful information as you can find. Fortify your reasons with relevant information because information is power. The more you know about the task at hand, the less hold the nicotine monster will have over you.
Note your reasons for quitting and then strengthen them with information. Search the internet for as much useful information as you can find. The more you know about the task at hand, the less hold the nicotine monster will have over you. Information will prepare you for all the hurdles on the way so that you are strong enough to face them and overcome them.
And, for heaven’s sake, don’t stop here. Once you have got the program, please use it!
Buying a program and then leaving it in the package will do nothing other than keep you smoking because you have a stop smoking kit available that you will ‘get to someday’. Someday is too late. Get the information you need – order a program – and use it. You’ll be glad you did.
You’ll be glad you did because it is the first step that is the most difficult. Once, you have taken the first step you will sail through the rest of the process.
Happy journey,
Darren Warmuth

Is chantix a good product to quit smoking?
Hi Anita,
Some people like it, some don’t. Please check our Chantix link on the site.
Chris
I have tried Chantix as well as many others I know have. Thinking it was the Miracle cure. It made me EXTREMELY NAUSEOUS. Believe me I tried to hold on as long as I could taking this medication thinking the nausea—would eventally pass—it did not. Nor did I feel much relief in the withdrawal process. Eventally I gave up as everyone else
I know” had too. What a Waste of Money! Note* Even on the Commercials it NOW lists COMMON side effects—NAUSEA and SLEEPING PROBLEMS. All true. Hope this helps.
